Why is the currently downloadable version not supported?

Postby nevdelap » 12 Sep 2008 07:28

The site indicates over 100,000,000 downloads of 0.8.6, and currently around 1.1 per second of 0.8.6. I submitted a bug report for a serious bug exhibited by 0.8.6, and I am told that 0.8.6 is not supported. What the???

"0.9.1 has been on the website for several weeks."

www.videolan.org mentions 0.8.6.i, the download link for Windows and Mac is 0.8.6, for Beos is 0.8.6, for the Linuxes is 0.8.6. So I guess the only supported version is the version fetchable from subversion?

Ok
