Here is a quick preview of the skin I have been working on.
This is my first skin I've ever made for any application so go lightly on me everyone.

Looks good I just find the vertical bars in the playlist window slightly confusing but that's ok.
Btw, which VLC version do you use to test the skins under windows? I though that the skin editor was 0.9.0 or later only but skins are broken under windows in 0.9 builds...

The skin editor is in such a way for 0.9 that it supports panels, but does not use groups anymore. But if the user does not add a panel to the skin, the skin might still be loaded by 0.8.6, although it does not scrictly follow the 0.8.6 DTD.

Originally I didn't use panels or groups and I could not get it to work at all in 0.9.0 but it worked fine in 0.8.6. Also I had to use the old playlist instead of playtree because playtree crashed both 8.6 and 9.0
