VLC Subtitle Problem

Postby Vietnamwees » 08 Sep 2008 08:19

So I was trying to watch a Japanese anime on VLC and I had an interesting problem. The subtitles from a background song and subtitles for the dialogue were showing up in the same spot on the screen, at the same time, so both subtitles became unreadable since they overlapped each other. I tried looking everywhere to see if there was a way I could adjust where one of the subtitle lines go, but I had no luck, does anyone here know how to fix this?

Try one of the nightly builds, this should resolve the problem :D

Nightly builds of the development build of VLC (0.9.x) can be found here:
http://nightlies.videolan.org/

If you are running Windows you may wish to try a test/preview build of 0.9.2 instead (since 0.9.x is very close to release):

http://people.videolan.org/~jb/Builds/0.9.2-preview/

Cheers, Arite.
