how can i make a screenshot of VLC running under windows?
i always get a black background in my screenshot when i try to make one.....

to be more clear:

i already tried some screenshot-tools - none of them worked...
in the screenshot picture VLC is always black - no video seen..... how can i aquire a screenshot like this one?

on this one the video in VLC is seen - on mine there's always blackness:-)

You need to disable overlaying in VLC's preferences to be able to make screenshots under Windows. You should find an entry about that in the video-section.
