running 2 VLCs Stream Servers and 2 WEB interfaces?

Postby Sawyer » 28 Aug 2008 13:12

Is it possible to run 2 instances of VLC with each having its own web interface?

It took me 1 month to figure out how to run VLC without the Wizzard and specific 2 different streaming ports. But I still havent managed to run 2 seperated web interfaces for each of this. I need a really simple way to do this.

Also I noticed that VLC crashes alot, doesnt always work the way it worked first time. Thats mainly what It took me 1 month to figoure out, cuz first time it worked right, second time not at all.

Why doesnt the web interface automatically start 1 or 10 ports after the streaming port of each instance. They all start either 8080. And the second isntance also starts it at 8080
