HAVA HD WIRELESS and VLC

Postby cristof » 30 Jul 2008 10:47

Hi,
I use the HAVA HD box, and would like to use it as low cost video & audio encoder on a private local network, and to be able on this network to watch the stream with an Amino 110 stb.
the hava bos is streaming i rtsp and mpg4.
The Amino 110 is only mpg2 TS.

I can watch the HAVA stream with vlc 08.6h : rtsp://10.4.1.132 and it's working well. the stream details codec are : mp4v and mp4a

Now I want to re-stream , and I use this line commande :

new broadcast enabled
setup input "rtsp://10.4.1.132"
setup output #duplicate{dst=std{access=udp,mux=ts,dst=224.10.10.10:1234}}

if I use a VLC to read this new stream (224.10.10.10), I can't decode any video but audio is OK.
VLC is working but no picture. The stream I received look like good, it's the same audio and video codec.

in fact I would like to be able to read this stream in a Amino 110, but I need to transcode from mpv4 to mpv2.

what is wrong ?
regards.
Cristof
