VLC feedback, acting as server

Hi, I'm using VLC as transcoder, and sending the transcoded stream to Darwin Streaming Server, which is acting as relay. My goal now is being able to send some stats back to the transcoder, but I've read in this forum that VLC doesn't support RTCP when it acts as server. ¿Is there any way to send information back to the VLC? I've tried to make a TCP connection between VLC and DSS, but I couldn't.
