[SOLVED] Compile error `x264_cabac_range_lps' cannot be used

I've tried recompiling x264 with -fPIC -- no help

Also, I don't want 32bit support.

Any ideas?

Ah, had to add --enable-pic --enable-shared to the x264 ./configure -- Now vlc compiles!
