The VLC 0.9.0-test2 nightly (20080712) crashes when it is quitted after a file has been opened. As I haven't found an open ticket in trac, I post a report here.
The steps to reproduce the crash are:
- 1. Open play a movie or something else in VLC (I used WMV, MOV and AAC)
2. Stop it by either clicking the stop-button or closing the window of the movie
3. Choose VLC->Quit
I run Mac OS X 10.5.4 on an iMac G4. I already deleted the preferences.
Additional information:
VLC does NOT crash if the movie is not stopped before VLC is quit or if the movie is only paused and not stopped.
The player doesn't crash if nothing has been played at all.
