Need Help PLS

Postby aziraphale85 » 08 Jul 2008 16:18

Hi ppl,

Just a few days ago, my VLC started playing all AVI files in a very dark hue. I did not adjust any display settings at all, and i did not do anything to my display drivers. I reinstalled and uninstalled the latest version of VLC but to no avail. I tried using the extended GUI to adjust the brightness and all, but at its default settings, pictures are just too dark. AVI files play normally on my windows media player and Divx player though.

really could do with some expertise here, i honestly have no clue as to the sudden unexplainable behaviour of VLC.

thanks!

nope, tinkering with the hue does not work at all.
everything was fine before, i never needed to use the extended GUI.

ALL AVI files just played with this darkened look.
