record a live stream to disk using VLC plugin embed w php/js

now i need a help..

I embed the vlc plugin code and its live streaming perfectly..

Now i want to record the live streaming in a disk in any formats like .asx,.wmv ...whatever..

only point is i need to know how to record the live stream using php or javascript??


* Firefox 2.0
* Vlc 0.8.6

use mplayer to record a live streaming.

Hi

Using vlc plugin you can record to disk. but this will be disabled in future releases for security reasons
