Is there a kind of FEC implemented in VLC 0.8.6 or 0.9

Indeed, I need it to stream to some smartphones and other ...

It will be implemented when it will be implemented. VideoLAN doesn't hire people, so it cannot roadmap features.

Would you like to explain "dvb access debug: using fec=9 [00000297]". What dose fec mean ? is it forward error correction ?
