Any improvements expected with FF plugin with FF3

Postby vlannewb » 10 Jun 2008 02:28

I'm streaming multiple feeds to one browser with ff2 and it crashes after a few hours. With ff3 it crashes immediately.

Any ideas?

Sorry if this question has already been asked.

Thanks!

You have tried the plugin that comes with the nightlies?

I tried running multiple feeds in firefox on nightlies build.
Here's what I saw:
- All video won't startup unless you manually copy all the plugins dll files into firefox plugin folder, it complains about missing modules.
- The browser still crash after a few hours running multiple feeds in the same page.
- I was going to try disabling overlay video output to see if this would get around the crash but looks like whatever got changed in VLC preference doesn't get reflected in firefox VLC plugin. (I tried to disable audio in VLC preference to confirm that).
