How to make VLC play ripped DVD in proper order?

Postby jakobkraft » 22 May 2008 16:39

With Media Player Classic, I just point it to a ripped DVD folder and it plays the DVD correctly, from whatever FBI warnings or previews, then to the main menu, and so on.
With vlc it goes straight to the movie studio logo, then straight to a scene halfway through the movie. It has done this with 3 different ripped DVDs.

Why?

I'm having difficulty seeing why anyone would prefer this over Media Player Classic...but maybe I'm doing something wrong...?

Okay, but do I actually have to set that option every time I play a ripped dvd?
