Play a video and send the output to graphics card's tvout

Postby airtek » 16 May 2008 08:24

hi guys , I have a strange problem on my debian server :

this server has x11 and graphical card with tvout , my final goal it's to find the shell's command for open a video file with vlc and send the output to the tvout of graphical card with or without reencoding.

I need of 1 or 2 graphical card? Because I use this server on my lan but only using ssh.
Can you please help me?

Thanks a lot

Bye

I find this on the Vlc doc area

vlc -vvv input_stream --sout '#duplicate{dst=display,dst=standard

Can this be useful for me?
