I've noticed with VLC 0.8.2 and MacX 10.3.7 that if I leave it running (but no movie showing) that the Mac will NOT sleep the monitor. This is perfectly good for use while watching a movie, but otherwise, it leaves my monitor on.
If I quit VLC, the monitor will happily sleep. Can we put an option in VLC to enable 'sleep' of monitors if the movie is NOT playing (i.e. paused) or if no movie is playing at all?
thx
