Videolan & Windows Media Player & Tmpgenc

Postby KCCK » 30 Sep 2004 13:02

Hi, I got this mpeg file that I can play using VLC Player, but if I try to open it with Windows Media Player or try to convert it with Tmpgenc both programs hang up. Well, I have to convert the file to VCD in order to watch it on my DVD... can anyone help me? Thanks.

Thanks for answering but how do I do that? And why I can't open that file with WMP or Tmpeng? I mean, it looks like an ordinary mpeg-1 file.

perhaps it's a mpeg-ts file. only very few programs understand that.

And look for the streaming wizard for converting a file. Use the menu's.
