in a lot example, this comande appair, "% vlc -vvv input_stream --sout '#transcode{vcodec=mp4v,acodec=mpga,vb=800,ab=128,deinterlace}:rtp{mux=ts,dst=239.255.12.42,sdp=sap,name="TestStream"}'"
but where must i tape this line !! in a bash ?? in vlc ??? where ???? in a terminal ???

At the prompt of your shell, in a terminal of your choice. You can also type it in the "Run Command" dialog of your desktop/windows manager.

ok, obviously..it was a bad question.....i am fine
i have a other question, how can i know what option must i add in te lcommande "./configure" to be able to stream a video card capture with v4l ???
i just tape ./configure, and i am not able to stream anyhing.......i do with (v4l )stream/udp(or rtp)=192.1668.0.4:1234, and nothing its play to the distant computer..i can ping the 192.168.0.4. I check the case play local in both computer.

./configure --help will give you a big list of possibilities... depending on what you activate, you'll have more or less features to be used.

Every single thing will require some other development libraries to be installed... so be preapred.

for v4l, it's --enable-v4l
