Problem with interface

Postby tjenkins » 20 Feb 2008 14:51

I am having trouble hiding visual qt interface (changing it to dummy or rc). When I invoke vlc under X with -I rc or -I dummy the interface is hidden like it should.

However I want to start my application that call vlc with "startx myapp" (X is invoked with only myapp).

In this case whether I put dummy or rc , vlc qt interface is displayed ignoring the setting.

Any ideas why and what to change?

run cvlc

Or force the interface in the configuration.
