Cannot stream rtp via network

Postby Javeleo123 » 17 Feb 2008 02:16

I have configured VideoLAN as rtp server for stream mp3 file. It works fine but only within local machine. Other VideoLAN instance on local machine can plays this mp3. But anybody on the same network cannot connet to this rtp server. Their VideoLAN clients shows: "Unable to open 'udp://@192.168.1.200:4443'". If I use http stream instead it works fine.

There was some questions about this problem with no answer.

Please, help me.

Most probably you did not put the correct IP destination on the server.
