Set a logo permanantly

Hi frndz,
Can anybody help me to add a logo on the live stream?
I used to goto preferences->Video->Subtitles/OSD->Logo overlay and then browse a logo and save it.Then by using sfilter=logo option in streamoutput mrl, I am able to get the logo displayed on live stream.But if I set the logo using command line ie, vlc --logo-file C:\\logo.png, the file is saved only for the current instance of vlc.But I need to set a logo permanantly using a command line.ie, and alternative to the process Preferences->Video->Subtitles/OSD->Logo overlay.
Any help would be appreciated.
