Philips AmbiLight for PC - amBX System

Hi there,

are there any plans to write a plugin for the philips amBX System. I think Media Player has one. Would be great to have the ambilight effect for PC monitors while watching movies.

Consider using the ambient light system from http://www.a-r-e.nl as it is much more flexible and open. You will likely find it working with pretty much everything running under Windows. You can download a free fully working version to try out.

I have it for 2+ years now for my living room TV, gaming station, and arcade machine.

I just read the upcoming VLC will improve ambilight support. But for wich system? Will this be for amBX too?
