have you tested the file in question on another player, or a player on another computer. cause it sounds to me like the file is corrupt if it will play the first one but not the second one. i dont think there is a way to repair that. maybe find a different place to download it fromi've got a film that i downloaded that is separated into two .avi files. the first one plays fine, the second one doesn't do anything. when i try to open it with VLC the name shows up in the playlist, but the duration remains blank and no video plays. i didn't encounter any problems when downloading the files so it seems strange that one half will play and the other will not. anyone got any clue as to what might be causing the problem?
