VLC commands in playlist?

Postby Attranac » 06 Jan 2008 07:30

After exhaustively searching the forums for a couple of days now, I have decided to just go ahead and ask the question myself.

Is there any way you can add VLC commands to a video playlist? I want to create a playlist and set it to play but theres a few of my videos where the sound level for example would be too loud and the sounds gets distorted on the speakers. Every time the video starts to play I have to go the pc and change the sound level manually. I would like to add in the playlist that when the video plays it should change the sound level automatically.

Is there a way to do this?

IIRC no. Unless you do .bat playlist by yourself. If your only problem is with audio files, you can normalize them with tools like MP3gain so they should play at same volume level.
