Need help with ".part" files

Postby Ralf_1976 » 07 Sep 2004 19:24

Hi, Guys.

Here's a question from germany....

I got this player because i read about it, that I could view previews of .part files (eDonkey).
What must I do to make this thing work?
I get no picture, no audio, no reaction when opening a .part file.

Is there anyone who can give me a step-by-step instruction to make it work?

Thanks,

Ralf

You have heard about the emule-plugin, developed by the emule-people and not supported by us. It should play this kind of files, but is very buggy and not that reliable as you can see by searching our forums. You'll found posts about problems with it and our answers that we don't support it.
Thus try it out, but don't expect to much from it. Searching with Google should provide you a download possibilty, a forum for posting problems and an introduction on how to install it.

The completely downloaded files can be played by VLC without any problems and without installing third-party plugins btw.

Thank's for the quick reply. I'll look around for that plugin.
In germany we say "probieren geht über studieren...!". I'll try it.

Have a nice day,

I use it without a problem.
