vlc: error in debian

when i type in console: vlc >this is what happen:
VLC media player 0.8.0-test1 Janus
Inconsistency detected by ld.so: ../sysdeps/generic/dl-tls.c: 72: _dl_next_tls_modid: Assertion `result <= _rtld_local._dl_tls_max_dtv_idx' failed!

i upgraded system 2 days ago... before my last upgrade vlc worked!!
something to suggest?

tree options for you:
1: uninstall nvidias graphics drivers
2: compile vlc with --disable-plugins (or edit vlc-config and move opengl and glx from the plugins list to the builtins list)
3: remove libopengl_plugin.so and libglx_plugin.so

of these 3 is the easiest.
