I have a dependcy issue with suse server 10 libslanf-utf8.so.1
Did I ust miss the rpm for suse server or will it work at all??

Hi,
on SLES, there are known flaws of many missing dependencies.
What you can do, is adding the SUSE Linux 10.1 FTP repository (and also be sure to have the VLC 10.1 repo; SLES10 is based on openSUSE 10.1).
This might solve your issues.
