My version is the latest (86b).
When I attempt to open a dvd directory on the hard disc (made by Pinnacle Studio or VSO convertX) VLC generates an "assertion error".

I notice others mention this and VSO say it is VLC's bug.
Can VLC comment on whether they recognise it as a VLC bug and whether it can be fixed please?
I apologise if I haven't reported this as you are supposed to. But please do help.
