newbie question: VLC and dBox2

Postby mikemolto » 31 Aug 2004 21:25

I'm using vlc to feed my dBox2 for playing videos for a day or two now. Works fine.
Just one problem: how can I prevent the VLC server (under Win2K) from letting client users browse through the whole file system of my Windows server machine? Is there any way to restrict the streaming service to a certain directory or to a certain tree?
Regards,
mike
