Possibility of adding Path of Movies via http?

Is it possible to Play files by sending the Path with the http Interface?

This question is very important for me, so please give me a sampe if you have enough time, thank you very much!

the answer is yes.

Example:
on linux:
/stuff/media/music/ARABIAN_NIGHT.MP3
on windows:
D:\media\music\ARABIAN_NIGHT.MP3

for more info on how to write a MRL, look at the doc. Another good way of learning, is by looking at the MRL field in the "Open File ..." window.

thank you dionoea, but if I use my path in the http interface the next page I see is a 404...

I'm currently using Windows, and my path is "C:\anty\interface\interface_default\videos\dicht.mpg". So it should work if I write this path into "Add a MRL (Media Resource Locator) to the playlist", right?

What can I do?

Ok, for the record *g*

It does work, but not with the http interface.
I works like this: http://ip:port/?control=add&mrl=C:\anty\interface\interface_default\videos\dicht.mpg
