VOLUME AND EQUALIZER?!?!

Postby element115 » 18 Sep 2007 01:01

Im really getting frustrated with VLC because it seems like there is no way to save the settings at least with volume and equalizer. Is that true? If yes, wtf is that? I dont want to fall from my chair everytime i start a song because the volume is on 400% and i also sdont want to spend 30 seconds of my lifetime everytime i start a song to set the equalizer how i had it the last time...

Can somebody tell me how i can save that?

Thanks

No one likes to help a crybaby. My guess is that it has to be coded into the program.

Hi there,

Excuse me to up this post, but I would like to know if there is a solution to save the equalizer settings in VLC 0.8.6c (Windows) ?

If not, is there a kind of plug in to add to do so ?

Thanks

i dont like the fact that you cant set the EQ settings for a video stream most of the times (seems like a bug to me) some times it tells me that this function isn't supported, and sometimes it works. it does it both in Leopard and in tiger with any video stream.

In fact it's not for the vidéo streams, i rarely change the settings for them.

That was for the MP3's

I know it's a bit surprising to listen to MP3's with VLC but I don't want to have a différent software for each kind of médias files.

Some month ago I had Winamp for audio files but the sound was worst than VLC even with EQ settings.

As you already found out, there is no way to save the equaliser settings within VLC right now. This will come, but it isn't there yet.

The audio level is automatically saved on quit (at least on OSX). However, you can still set the volume manually in the Audio section of the preferences, if you prefer.
