I also did a ticket on that issue with plus signs some while ago.
https://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/1324
But it left unanswered.

Yes, unfortunately the new windows builds seem quite buggy (no offense at all!). The playlist button seems to do some strange and unexpected functions...

The + sign thing is indeed fixed I believe. I'll test it some more tonight, but it seems OK at the moment.
(edit* Can't test in media library, because VLC crashes when trying to add files now...)

While testing it I found another strange bug. On some songs, when you skip to time XX:XX, the time display does not match. It goes 00:01/00:01 then 00:02/00:02 etc, but it should go to XX:XX/FF:FF (where F is the total time of the track).

Its strange how this only happens on some songs, but not others... I can't find a connection.

As of some of the more recent nightly builds this is the message that I get whenever I try to load items into the playlist:

Image

I've tried nightly builds predating the 17th of this month (vlc-0.9.0-svn-20071016-0001-win32) and they seem to work just fine, so it would appear that this is not a problem with my computer.

I get the same error Cloud, so its definitely not just your computer. However I get the error when trying to add to media library.

it's normal to see english since the translations are not fully completed.

close completely vlc, and then edit the file %appdata%\videolan\vlc media player\vlcrc (or something like that), search for "#language" or "#lang" and change it to "language=en" for english

I have been searching and i could not find a VLC Original Classic Skin.
I like the functions of Nightly but I'm still in love with the original look 8) (I'm sorry if that statement counter's anyones hard work on the graphics of Nightly)
Is there a skin that I missed? or is there away to get Nightly to look like the original?
(P.S. I am running Windows Vista if this would cause any problems.)

You mean the wxwidget interface? Open the preferences > all > Interface > Main > module > wxWidget Interface. It's not a skin.

EDIT: Oh j-b was faster :D

SPDIF audio problem

Hello All, been using various 0.9.0 nightlies up to around August time, using SPDIF output to my AV receiver, works perfectly for Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS.
However, the nightlies from the past couple of weeks seem to have stopped working with SPDIF. When playing a DVD with Dolby Digital, although my amp still switches automatically to DD mode, there is just silence instead of audio. On DVDs with additional DTS soundtrack, I can select the second audio track in VLC, and the DTS output works.
After stopping and starting the track again, although VLC had defaulted back to audio track 1, the DTS was still being outputted, so I wonder if there is a problem with the audio track selection code rather than any SPDIF related stuff? I don't know, but hopefully someone will know what is wrong!

Thanks,
Ben

No I mean that Nightly looks Different from the original VLC
I was wondering if it was possible to get Nightly to look the same as the original but still have all the functions.
If I can do this in wxWidget I have no clue how to.
Thank You everyone for your fast response :D
