VLC stops streaming after X minutes

Each time I attempt to download a stream the picture and audio freeze, and VLC does not proceed with the stream every set of minutes. I've tried different streams, and I've tried setting the defaults with no avail.

A peak at the messages show this as the last few messages prior to freezing and eventually crashing:

I'd like to know what causes this issue, as im having the exact same problem. Im trying to capture and stream another rtsp stream input, but usually after 3 minutes the vlc just stops dealing with the input stream... No idea what the problem is. Tried everything and anything....
