How to show subtitles

Postby JackRnl » 10 Oct 2007 10:09

I created a DVD (english spoken, dutch subtitles) using DVDFlick (http://www.dvdflick.net) and on my TV the dutch subtitles DO show up.
But using VLC (0.8.6c using wxWidgets interface) under Windows 2000 (english, latest updates installed) the dutch subtitles do NOT show and I don't know how to make them show.

How can i select and show my dutch subtitles using VLC?

How do you start you DVD with VLC? You use VLC autorun option, or you start VLC and then choose open disc... ? With open disc you can choose audio and subtitle tracks. Also during playback you can use Video -> Subtitles Track and choose right subtitle track.
