Indeed.it is unfortunate that the majority of people will only comment when there are problems and never give credit where credit is due. Please let it be known that the work you do here is appreciated by millions of users and that you have created a unique program.
1) Yes. Probably ffmpeg related. H264 decoding. This changes a lot every day, so it is almost impossible to know what to do. But works way better in trunk.
BTW I still need a validation for trac and an ability to download stuff off of ftp://streams.videolan.org/incoming as the changes in security have locked me out or am I a security risk?
It is but noone reported it.But the libx264_plugin.dll was left out of test 1. Don't you think this is a problem?
Just a compilation problem. But still, this is fixed. And 0.8.6b is good improvements. Especially because we will drop some OS after.Fortunately I have been round here long enough to know when you can steal plug-ins and when you can't. I can only assume this plug-in was not ready to go when test 1 was compiled.
Trac will come soon.BTW I still need a validation for trac and an ability to download stuff off of ftp://streams.videolan.org/incoming as the changes in security have locked me out or am I a security risk?
Some teletext format (different countries) are not well implemented. Can you deactivate some language in the subtitles track menu?Teletext is working, but not entirely good. I'm watching an IPTV Mpeg 2 stream. Setting override page to -1 or 0 in the teletext subtitles decoder it displays multiple languages one after another in rapid order. The result is very confusing. Setting the override page to a teletext page causes the text to be very unreadable.
Is there a way of further controlling what page of subtitles being displayed, or can the text displayed on the screen be controlled?
