Totally crazy thing with VLC and DVB-T (directX problem)

Postby crocodudule » 06 Sep 2007 22:43

Hello all :D

(sorry for my bad english)

I "create" a GUI for vlc, for the TV, (analogic and the TNT (dvb-t))
(The program work fine, and it's open (GNU and free), i can post it if you want (it's a alpah for the moment)

This summer i worked on my laptop, (with your help), all was ok.
But now, i work on my computer (AMD athlon X2 3800+ 2g. 7900GS, dual boot win XP sp2 (and patch for TNT), and suse).

But i have a crazy thing (on windows), when I launch a chanel in DVB-t mode, i have many freeze (video and audio) (on my laptop all is ok...).
I try all: last driver (tuner DVB and graphic card), add "sout=#duplicate{dst=display} :sout-display-delay=512" and more...
Nothing work.

And, i don't know why, i launch in the same time a video on windows media player.
 and the DVB-t work perfectly
crazy

It's a bug?? :?:
Do you have a command line for this problem?
Thank you :D

(then i can stop playing the video and close windows medias player, all is ok)

______________
En français:

Bonjour,

Sorry for this up.

Someone have the same problem
Hm, it may sound stupid but it works fine every time if I have another DirectX app running at the same time (e.g. a windowed game).

OK, not every time but 95% of the time. But, if I close this game then I always got corrupted image and sound.

Devil inside!

So, if you have an idea for "force the directX mode" or something like that...
thank's a lot

Merci
