My video's won't play on my DVD player after I burn them

Postby rdsw1965 » 24 Aug 2007 08:32

I recently installed VLC 0.8.6c on my pc (Windows XP). Now, video's that I could burn and play on my DVD and tv have been converted from '.wmv' to '.mpg'. Now, after burning them, I get a message that states the DVD is an "unknown format". How can I get them to burn and play somewhere besides my pc? I'm not a technical person, so please keep it simple. Thanks for any assistance!!

You may need a multi-format player like a Philips DVP5960 or similar.
