Transcoding to put OnScreen Subtitles

Postby fuego » 16 Aug 2004 22:58

Hi

I have a MPEG-TS file, with subtitles.
I want to make a VCD with subtitles rendered over the image,
so i had tried several options to transcoding the file to MPEG-1, AVI, MOV..
but only i get the subtitles in my computer PC, but not on the file

¿is there a way to do this?

I'm using VLC 0.7.2 in a WinXP SP1 machine

modify your "sout" MRL to include the "soverlay" parameter.
eg. :sout "#transcode{vcodec=mp1v,soverlay}..."
