Apple loosless Audio won't play

VLC ver. 0.8.6b
I have downloaded Transformers TV trailer 3 in 1080p res.
VLC is playing it at the best but there is no audio. I have then tried QuickTime to play it, it played with audio alltogether, but it had problems with frame rate. And that's why I love playing it with VLC. But VLC wouldn't play audio. QT on file info reported that the audio is Apple loosless, and VLC reports codec: alac

Any Idea??? Thnx

It should be supported. ALAC audio, SVQ3 video, no sound...

You might need to upload a sample or provide the link from which you got the trailer.

Nice trailer! But I meant the link where you downloaded the trailer from so that we can try to reproduce the problem and hopefully find a fix, if there's need for one.

I've downloaded it from there. Actually I used QT pro 7 registered, and when plugin finished downloading/streaming (whatever) trailer, using Firefox, I used right click onto movie and save "Save as quick time movie". That is the one way that I'm downloading .mov files, or I just copy/paste the link into QT7 and after it's finished I use Save as: Self contained movie.
P.S. This is the only .mov file that I have problem with in VLC.

Can you check if there is a trac ticket on that one? Can you create one if not? Can you put the sample somewhere relevant?

I've reencoded file thru QT7 to the same quality and Apple Loosles codec and it WORKS! There was a problem with audio in file, like the header was broken or something. While trying to push it to work in VLC I was getting a loop sound in different versions, not the same, but it was like looping a 1/4 of a second. Now to head a new post.
