Need help adding a signature / avatar?

Postby CloudStalker » 16 Feb 2007 06:59

How can I easily add an avatar to my profile? I’ll need step-by-step directions as to how to do this… Sorry, I’m completely lost when it comes to these things. Any help will be appreciated.

Click on "Profile", scroll down to the avatar control panel, copy and then paste in the textbox the link of your avatar.

How do I go about posting an avatar so it can be linked, on what website? Again, I’m really lost when it comes to these types of things. Thanks.

Go to imageshack.us, upload your avatar there, then copy the URL it gives you(the one that starts with http) and paste it in the textbox I mentioned earlier.

I'm kinda looking for something unique, something that says "CloudStalker". A gif would be fine, maybe, but I like to have avatars with transparent backgrounds and I don't think gifs retain the alpha transparency channel, So for know... 8)

Maybe. I'm still trying to use that program that you posted so that I can make my own custom avatar.

I'll be putting my avatar through various changes at least until I can get everything to work properly. How's the rework thus far?

Hey, I have a question: Is it alright to use any picture/icon that's found on the internet as an avatar for this (or any) forum? I've found something interesting. :P

Yes :?: No :?:

OK, never mind then. 8)

No no, it's decent. :)

For the time being I found something for both DJ and j-b.

Hey DJ, I know you already have an avatar but if you ever get bored of that one you could try this:

And j-b you can try his one: :P

Nah I'm just joking. This one actually looks more like a VLC constructor:

:P So what do you guys think?
