Thanks, I appreciate it. Let me explain what happens when I login and try to make a new ticket. I click the login button, I type in my user name and password, so now the whole stupid spammers stinkup the site blah blah blah appears, so I click on the "Web Interface", I can put in a nickname but I can't edit the other two boxes, I login and it brings me to this long list that is forever updating (looks like a conversation between developers), I still have no idea what's going on or how to make tickets, help?

Oh yeah. Other then the annoying crackling sound that occurs when a song starts everything works fine; time displays and audio.

Hey DJ funniest thing, the ability to convert FLAC back to PCM was right under my nostrils all this time!

I just used the FLAC GUI (had to find it on my computer) and decoded the FLAC files, once they're in their PCM format I'm able to throw them back into EAC and re-encode them to whatever I want, wma9 lossless, aac, whatever.

Well I would say thanks but you did nothing!

I'm joking.

OK so I've been doing some more research and have come to the conclusion that FLAC is indeed better then WMA9 lossless. The quality of audio that the two produce in equal but the encoding and decoding methods that FLAC uses are far better.

I also wanted to point out that using the latest version of FLAC (FLAC 1.1.4) produces faster and more seamless encoding then the previous versions, in Flac (fact) when using VLC after encoding with this version there's no longer any pops of crackling noise for the first ten seconds of audio; it play with no problem from the beginning to the end. Just thought I might mention it.

Alright. I'm using trunk-20070610-0000/ (June 10th) with FLAC 1.1.4. When encoding audio with this newer version there's seamless playback with VLC, no pops clicks crackling, not even when you seek. Here are two songs (one rar file):
