I have found some problems in VLC. Can you remove them?

Postby MetalheadGautham » 28 May 2007 12:07

1. I Pressed Alt+F4 in VLC for windows, and VLC crashed. VLC hence stinks to the core.

2. My speakers have a button which lights up when pressed. when I press them again, the light disappears! but when I make that light disappear to save power, may favourite song could not be heard on VLC. can anyone please help me? :(

3. I play music with my monitor off, to save power, after I heard that VLC has good keyboard controls. but when I pressed a little button next to that big button on the CPU, my song stops. even when I press the button assighed for play, VLC simply refuses to play. I was fiddling with this for over half an hour, and then saw that my system was again in the choose user menu. this is an extremely dangerous bug in VLC which I found. I must get a Nobel Prize 8) and VLC must be never used.

4. This is a huge discovery I made about VLC: when you press a big button on the monitor, my video suddenly disappears. when I press it again, my video appears again. this is a bad bug. when I want to watch videos while sleeping, I keep the computer right in front of my bed. what if I accidently press that button with my leg in my sleep? I will not be able to watch any videos after that.

I ask you kind users to help me, or I will go to court against VLC

Looking at the picture, you probably fried the last one. What makes you think you will do better with a new one? Hmm! That question seems to be a catch 22.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste!

BTW, what's catch 22, a band? If we have to be smart to read your posts then what's the point? :P

Catch 22 is a book. Generally referred to for issues that lead in circles with no real resolve. In this case the question may be rhetorical. A question that can't be logically answered or has no resolve. You need to get out more!

What does that mean? On second thought I don't want to know. It probably smells bad. :P

You can't borrow mine, it's in use! :P

Guess you will just have to figure out a way of repairing the one you have, yourself. Perhaps, stop drinking the local water or sucking down on the exhaust fumes might help. Exercise and Sun also help.

A day at the beach does wonders to help clear the Brain. It also improves an acne condition. :P Eating healthy also helps as you can avoid all (or at least most) of the poisons associated with the fast food nation. Last, stop doing drugs as most drugs are derived from some form of poison.

As I recall, it was required reading in College, but I remember reading it in High School. Nice try though! :P

For a guy that doesn't even know where he lives "Location: well....... there is a door in front of my house" and keeps sitting in that Electric Chair, we have all known for sometime now, you need a Brain as you have fried yours. It's not our fault you have friends in the same condition. VLC can NOT change to accommodate this "No Brain" condition.

Also prevalent without a Brain is paranoia (the belief that everyone is lying to you or against you), bigotry (you are better than everyone else), quick to anger (fighting all the time) and greed (you got to have all the newest, best toys).

Considering I don't share any of these conditions proves that I have a Brain. But as I said "it is in use" so you can't have it and suggested ways you may be able to repair yours. Unfortunately, you must have some semblance of a Brain left to do this.

You attack mental problems like you do a computer; all technical. :P This isn't 'VLC for Windows' topic you know, so could you dumb it down a bit, a truly smart person would know how. :P

This is DJ's way of handling it:
Access mental problem > find therapy > repair current brain and update knowledge base (make sure to attach nerves to inter-cranial membrane) > delete stupidity and restart brain.

Hey I just figured out what "DJ" really stands for: Drinkin Jamba! Maybe a little too much. :P

Edit: Only 1 away from 1000! :D Wait, this could be a bad thing. :( Oh well, I'm sure he? she? will forget all about it. 8)

I have a message to you all from my boss:
Hey MetalheadGAutham The Stupider, I allot you this topic to be as stupid as you want. Also ask CludStalker the stupider to join you.
thats what boss told me. we (I and Boss) share the same name but have different personalities. don't mistake me to be him. he is too well respected to be of my standards.

OK People listen up! I have decided to cross connect MetalheadGautham's Electric Chair and ZAP CloudStalker's Sword the next time CloudStalker posts his 1000th message. Shhhh! Now don't tell him! We all want it to be a surprise

Aha! No shock! Silly little DJ, have you forgotten that CloudStalker took the precaution of covering his sword in bandages so as not to feel the effects of that puny little wheel chair the MetaldeadCoffin sits in? :D Who's the samrt one now! :P You're probably dumb enough to underline this because a person who supposedly needs therapy told you to. don't lie, CloudStalker knows you underlined it.

BTW, that's 1001! And still nothin! :P

hahaha CloudTripper, I am immune to electricity, with the only side effect of it being me glowing like a lamp bulb  hence I have increased the voltage to a high value, and have taken all precautions to lower the resistance as much as possible. one touch on that slightly unbandaged part of your sword, and you will be as good as CookedStalker

I will try to avoid using this topic again...
