I just noticed the de-interlacing option appears twice in the Preferences, and only one of them works...
Do you plan to fix this in future versions?
Well, no. Branch has deviated too much from trunk to be able to work correctly on it, backporting fixes is now really difficult. Moreover, the building of VLC branch for windows is difficult as hell because of ffmpeg changes. The last branch in the nightly is 4/18/07 where as VLC 0.8.6b is dated 4/24/07
@ j-b You working on branch updates???
Well, not really, but as all the libraries evolve, the trunk of VLC evolves too, and then managing a branch with old libraries and bug is kind of difficult and boring, but not undoable. Moreover 0.8.6b is quite stable. You lost the recipe? I've never heard of a Frenchmen loosing a Recipe!
