ActiveX hangs in a c# .net 2.0 application

Hi,
i'm using the vlc activex to preview a media file which is not yet fully loaded on the hard drive.
I had to implement the play/pause/stop seek and volume bar.
But when i try to go further on the seek bar (sets the Position property between 0.0 and 1.0) My all application hangs.
Is there any way to display vlc originals controls ?
How should i avoid the vlc activex to crash ?
Can i know somehow the stream position? so i could check if that part is already on disk.
By the way is it possible to show a logo on the top right corner of the screen ? (i've seen it was possible but i can't find a way to make it works, what are the parameters, how shoud i pass the parameters to the activex?)
