Acquiring stats throught the API.

Postby dl0haus » 14 Apr 2007 20:35

I have figured out how to download streams to the local filesystem using the API instead of the VLC interface... what I need now is some information about how to query the library for stats on a particular stream. In particular I'm looking for total bytes that have come across since the stream was initialized and started playing...

Any ideas?

Thanks,
D

VLC version: OVER 9000!!!
Operating System: It's...blue screen
Location: Heaven? No no. What's that other place that starts with an "H"? Oh yes: Home. ^_^

I don't know if this is what you're talking about, but, while the video is playing, press Ctrl-I and click on the Statistics tab.
