VoD Server for MPEG2 TS created from ffmpeg

Postby gaurav_dm » 06 Apr 2007 04:25

hi all,

I created some mpeg2 ts files using ffmpeg but when I set up a VoD object using VLC it would not stream the video part @ all. What could be the problem? But if I created an mpeg2 ts file using VLC then it worked fine.

Also how can I see what encoder is used by VLC when I transcode the file using the mpeg2 ts container? Can I in some way see the command-line statements executed behind the scenes.

It would very kind of you to help me out

regards,

Gaurav
