can vlc start at anypoint??

can vlc start at anypoint??

im doin a project using vlc,

and been tryning to find out if you can start a file on vlc at anypoint, without having to start from the start of the file and use the seek command

for example start view the stream 20 seconds from the start of it

i dnt seem to see any answers to this anywhere on the internet

in the VLC command mode, u can use the follow option

--start-time=<integer> Start time
The stream will start at this position (in
seconds).

Try :
vlc [file://]filename --start-time=<integer>
