I've a simple question (I did not find answer in the current topics):

Is it possible to capture video from a video card with VLC in a Windows environment ??

Despite documentation seems to say "No" does it exist extra dev. or knwoledge database about this feature ??

It is not designed for that, best I know.

This question has come up several times recently. It might be interesting to see if VNC, which does capture the desktop, could be "married" to VLC -- use VNC's screen snapshot functionality as the basis for a VLC "input device".
