Suggestion: Two Changes to the Goom Visualisations

Is it possible to add an option to VLC so that one could toggle the filename of the track being displayed in the first moments of play, and more importantly, toggle that wonky, gyrating, and highly stylised "Goom" that appears on the screen, shaking its thing. It is amusing, but it does destroy the beauty of the visualisations at times.

Also an option to have sharper visualisations would be nice.

Am I asking too much, or is this something worth spending time on?

Edit: Also, if the visualisations only appeared when there was no video.
