VLC Audio Problem under Windows 98 SE

Postby jagadish_ece » 23 Feb 2007 10:47

When I try play any movie or song with VLC under Win98SE, the video output is fine, but the audio output has a large amount of background noise and it's horrible.

I have tried VLC Version upto vlc-0.8.5. But no use.

The same movie play well in some windows media player and real player.

Help me

Try Preferences, Output modules, DirectX and shut off the "Use float32 output" option then press Save and close the player. Some audio cards do not support this feature well.
